Great Premium Soap

This is a wonderful soap, and has become my gateway drug to the Arlington range. Unlike the other quality English soap makers, Harris retains a tallow base for their soaps; long may that continue. This is a hard soap, so it takes a week or so of use to get going and load up well and consistently. But that means it'll last a long time too, so I think that offsets the price premium. Not yet sure if it's as good as Tabac or Speick, but it still shaves really well, provides great slide and protection and doesn't dry out my face, and the Arlington scent puts it at the top of the pile for me. It smells like it says on the box, a mix of citrus and fern, with more fern than citrus. Very classy, subtle and addictive. The good news is, if you like it, the cream and cologne smell just the same.
