Naniwa Super Stones are the perfect hone for sharpening or restoring straight razors. Used in progression they can bring transform a dull blade to a smooth sharp edge. The Naniwa 1000 grit Super Stone is a fast cutting waterstone which can be used to repair chips and imperfections on the cutting edge of a blade. These honing stones only need to be wet before use and do not need any pre-soaking. Japanese Naniwa's are noted for the feedback they give during the sharpening process.

Please note that our Naniwa sharpening stones are double the thickness of standard Naniwa stones meaning they will have twice the life span.
