Naniwa Specialty Stones are the perfect hone for sharpening or restoring straight razors. Used in progression they can bring transform a dull blade to a smooth sharp edge. The Naniwa 1000 grit Specialty Stone is a fast cutting waterstone which can be used to repair chips and imperfections on the cutting edge of a blade. These honing stones only need to be wet before use and do not need any pre-soaking. Japanese Naniwa's are noted for the feedback they give during the sharpening process.

Quality Stone, Excellent Service
Stones are excellent, slightly soft but user friendly. Most of all service from shaving.ie is top notch, these stones can arrived damaged if not packed correctly but this site put in the extra packing effort to insure they get there perfectly!
