These NOS Polsilver blades were made in the legendary Lodz factory in Poland. Sharing the same qualities and characteristics as Super Iridiums these Polsilvers are a premium quality blade but unfortunately are only available in limited quantities.

    These brown box Polsilvers are very difficult to find and Shaving.ie is probably the only place to order these beauties. They're sharp and smooth and are in my top 5 blades of all time. Highly recommended.

    for me, they started off a little tuggy, but soon settled into what was an extremely smooth, effortless, and irritation free, BBS shave... highly recommended!

    I purchased these blades after reading many reviews and I'm so glad that I pulled the trigger on these bad boys. I've been wet shaving for 36 years, and I can genuinely say that these blades are extremely smooth and sharp, similar to the Russian made Permasharp blades which leave an irritation free BBS shave. Roll on payday as I'll be purchasing more!

    These Polsilver blades are excellent. I have hard beard hair (medium dense). Polsilver performed smoothly. I could get 5 shaves (3 pass technique but practically ca.5 pass because sometimes I do experiment) and then I changed the blade only because I got bored and wanted to refresh blade :-) The blade is rather stiff. I use Merkur Progress and sometimes Feather Popular. I shaved using variety of techniques: with warm or cold water, using cream or soap and brush but sometimes just using shaving gel massaged in with bare hand. Zero irritation from blade itself. Hopefully it's enough info :-)

    Very good but a bit expensive

    The quality of that delivery of original old Polsilvers was very good. Each shave was very close, and I managed to got 3 happy shaves out of each edge. If you "listen" to these blades when doing a pass, they sound like charm. The nicks were minimal.
