I have boar and a badger brushes. I don't use the badger after trying the boar brush. This brush is the best for the price I have tried.
In our opinion boar brushes do not get any better than this plus it gets even better through use. Considered by many as one of the best boar hog bristle shaving brushes it really works up a great lather with both soaps and creams. The Omega 81064 features a Black and transparent two tone resin handle and carefully selected boar hair. It also comes with its own shaving brush stand. Made in Italy by Omega.

I used to be a Badger Snob
Always thought only the best of the best will do for me. Silvertip badger or High Mountain Badger. Then I got this brush and tried it. Blown away! I get a life time supply of these brushes for the cost of one of my high-end badger brushes.

Great value for the money
I purchased this Omega boar brush from Shaving.ie last December. I have been using a badger brush (nearly twice as expensive as Omega 31064) for nearly 5 years. Now after some time of using it I can say I prefer it to my badger brush, it feels better on the face; firmer than badger when lathering on the face yet soft and the handle shape is absolutely the best.

The best!
I own several shaving brushes, and I think this is the absolute best. incredible softness, comparable to the badger, the handle is very comfortable, in fact exceptional value for money. I prefer it to my omega silvertip.

As good as they get.
I have a beautiful silvertip that I use with creams, but I tried a couple of soaps and couldn't get a good lather. This brush works. It is generously sized, which makes it easy and comfortable to handle, and the bristles work up a lovely lather with Proraso soap. I'm looking forward to trying it with Mitchell's - I bought some a few months ago but i put it away because I couldn't get a lather from it. This brush might do the trick, I think. By the way, if everyone gave the kind of service that shaving.ie does, world peace would be a realistic possibility.

they say boar brushes get better with time - all i can say is that i already love it after the first shave =) If you're not a customer of shaving.ie yet, let me tell you, that the service is excellent!
