Taylor Sandalwood hard soap is a good value in my opinion. Nice scent, lathers easily, and provides acceptable slickness during the shave.
A long lasting soap that lathers well and enables a good close shave. The water that your using must be quite warm however to get the best lather. Other than that brilliant.
Lathers well with distilled water. The lime scent isn't strong enough for me. After shaving little lime smell is left. During shaving the drying lather can pull around the lips. Not a pleasant feeling. Excellent Tobs quality, but I can't place it on the No. 1 spot.
Taylor's Lavender shave soap is a good all around performer. It has a nice clean scent and lathers well.
