This Dovo Straight Razor with pearlex scales has a 5/8" Swedish carbon steel blade is another work of art by Dovo of Solingen. Carbon steel blades are usually favoured as they are easier to hone and maintain than their stainless steel counterparts and can hold a very sharp smooth cutting edge. The pearlex handle features an old style Dovo inlay and the blade is etched with a nice 24k gold decoration. Straight razors require some experience to use and maintain but once you have developed a good technique you will be rewarded with quality shaves.
