A Shave Above The Rest!

I ordered one and could hardly wait for it to arrive and when it did I could not stop looking at it for ages. The chrome and craftsmanship is superb. I then prepared for my first ever foray into DE shaving and I am very pleased with the results. It feels expensive and delivers a great shave. I would say that it was a very enjoyable experience and I will not be going back to plastic cartridges no matter how many multi-blades they try to sell me. For the first time in my life, I feel I have shaved like a man and the multi-blade carts are gone into the rubbish bin!

The finishes are perfect, are far superior to the Merkur. It is not aggressive but is not mild. The grip is perfect, unlike what many say. Besides doing their job well can be considered a piece of art.

Been DE shaving for a few months now and this is my first and only razor thus far, but newbies and experienced DE shavers all agree that this is a beauty. Beautifully chromed and styled, and functions perfectly and smoothly, can easily get a perfect shave with this.

I took delivery of this razor only last week and after my first shave I was impressed. You could tell straight away, this razor is smooth and user friendly.
It's not the closest shave I've had but hey, you have to give up something for a shave as smooth as this razor offers.
Great value too!

i would recommend this razor to all "beginners". Cheap, but well-crafted its the perfect "entry" to the world of DE razors.

Only thing that’s is not "just perfect": how to install the blades.

Learnt to shave with a DE razor and remember my dad's old Gillette DE razor. Hate shaving and always looking for a better shaving experience. Decided to return to my roots! This is a great entry level DE razor. NO cuts or nicks. Use it with Proraso pre-shave cream and Proraso shave cream for the ULTIMATE experience. Better than any shave creams costing 2-3 times more! Thanks guys!

Best DE razor! Edwin Jagger’s DE89L finish/plating, weight, design are EXCELLENT, superior to Merkur, Mühle (same head, but lighter handle, plating not as good as EJ DE89L plus cost $60-70US state side). Use it with Astra SP (green pack) razor blade, MWF or Cella soap. Shipping to North West USA took 10 days, well packed. Chris is pleasure to deal with! :) THANK YOU!

It was my first DE razor. Great design, high quality material, aesthetically pleasant and very functional even for a starter...for the price you will be amazed with the outstanding results. I use it with Feather blades, and I got a perfect, smooth shave without cuts.
