Beautiful smooth razor

A beautifully made razor that, despite its light weight, gives a close, smooth shave. Perfect for travelling. I'll use this at home too in rotation and I look forward to years of use.

I travel a lot, usually carry on, and when on the road I really miss my Futur. I bought this light little gem with the leather carry pouch case (separate) and due to its non-metal construction, it never gets flagged on the x-Ray. For shaving, it works wonders, close but not aggressive, just the sort of shave you want while travelling. Pair this with the Mueller travel pure badger brush as I did and take along some Proraso cream in a small tub (I fill my own tub from a travel kit) and you'll be shaving almost as nicely as at home!

I was surprised how much I love this little razor. Sure it's light and made out of plastic, but the shaves I get from this thing are incredible. This is now my everyday shaver. A must have, if only as a travel razor!

While not everyones choice of colour, this Merkur razor does the job better than any other razor I own. Light in weight but mighty with a fine shave. Worth adding to your collection.
