    Purchased the progress yesterday, arrived today. This is my first safety razor, and it must be said; I was absolutely shocked by the ease of use and the exceptional results procured.
    Despite my lack of experience using the progress was straight-forward and my initial reaction is that I will not be using a fusion or mach3 again. Indeed, the most astounding thing is how we even moved away from DE razors in the first instance.

    I recently received the Merkur for Chrimbo along with a brush. I am actually amazed at how good this safety razor is.

    I bought this adjustable progress to replace a old worn out Gillette adjustable. It is working better than I had imagined and am very happy I found such a good alternative.

    This is undoubtedly the best razor I have owned over the years. I wish I discovered these sooner as it gives a far better shave than a Mach 3 or Gillette Fusion and the blades for it are very cheap.

    For anyone looking to begin shaving with a safety razor this is a fantastic razor to begin with, the razor has a decent amount of weight to it which makes it very suitable for starters.

    The loading/unlocking system for blades is straight forward with no fuss, its easy to clean and maintain as well.

    My only complaint about it is for some people (incl myself) the handle can feel like its too short so bare this in mind and because of this you might find the long handle version more suitable.
