Great for beginners and advanced shavers

For anyone taking up DE shaving this is one of the go-to razors. The R89 is perfectly balanced.

Combined with the Feather blades, the R89 has blessed me with BBS shaves with no nicks and cuts. I highly recommend it!

First of all, the Mühle R89 is a very beautiful object: Nice finish, looks solid...

Once in my hand, the razor has a well balanced weight. I use Gillette blue extra edge which globally fits to most of the people. The razor is smooth, safe and efficient.

This is my first Double Edge razor and it is at least better than what I used before: Gillette Mach 3 or Fusion... It is definitely worth it!!

My first venture into DE shaving was with the Mühle R89 - thoroughly impressed - heavy, quality feel. I now get up earlier in the morning to give myself plenty of time to enjoy a proper shave! Really smooth, much better than the Mach 3's I used previously - no comparison, much cheaper too. Prompt service.

This was my 2nd DE Razor and I absolutely love it! Great performance, smooth like you wouildn't believe it with the sharpest blades. Great shop as well, thanks again!

I have just recently ditched the Gillette Fusions and goop-in-a-can setup for a cream, brush and double-edge regime. I did heaps of research into razors for newbies and it came down to either the R89 (same head as the EJ89) or the Merkur HD. I chose the Muhle and have to say it is awesome in every way. The craftsmanship is fantastic, the weight seems perfect and it gives me an incredibly close and smooth shave with an Astra Superior Platinum loaded. I don't see any need to buy another razor - this one IMHO is all I'd ever want.

I believe the Mühle line of safety razors are the best in current production. The head is very accurately made and compliments a wide range of blades. This is my new number one safety razor in front of old Gillette’s.
