A big surprise

I've got a few Omega boars, the biggest being 55mm, which is a good sweet spot for boars. I wanted to try something larger without going all out for the Pro, which I'm certain would be far too big for me as I face lather.
This has turned out to be a really nice big brush. Like all Omegas, they make a joke of the idea of boar 'break in'; they all soften up after a week or so, but they make great lather from day one. This one is no exception.
The knot is firm, but will give, so you still know you're using a good boar. The tips are soft and do not scratch. The firmness stops it from being too big on the face, but the larger knot and surface area makes plenty of lather very easily and quickly. Will take on any hard or soft soaps and deliver. I'm surprised I like a brush this big, it's very usable and becoming a favourite.
