    A great replacement to my old Gillette

    I bought this adjustable progress to replace a old worn out Gillette adjustable. It is working better than I had imagined and am very happy I found such a good alternative.

    Best razor I have ever owned

    This Merkur is undoubtedly the best razor I have owned over the years. I wish I discovered these sooner as it gives a far better shave than a Mach 3 or Gillette Fusion and the blades for it are very cheap.

    Fantastic starter razor

    For anyone looking to begin shaving with a safety razor this Merkur is a fantastic razor to begin with, the razor has a decent amount of weight to it which makes it very suitable for starters. The loading/unlocking system for blades is straight forward with no fuss, its easy to clean and maintain as well. My only complaint about it is for some people (incl myself) the handle can feel like its too short so bare this in mind and because of this you might find the long handle version more suitable.
