Beautifully crafted brush with silky smooth feel

The Muhle Sophist Black Silvertip Badger brush is beautifully crafted and looks great on display. The weight of the brush makes for a satisfying and premium feel in your hand. The large 23mm knot looks small at first, but after blooming in warm water becomes quite large. The silvertip hair feels great against your skin and soaks up water and forms a great full lather. The brush washes clean easily and performs consistently. The black resin handle looks premium and is easy to hold. I am particularly fond of the subtle etched Muhle logo on the silver base of the brush. With all this said, it does come at a premium price. But that is to be expected for a Silvertip brush of this quality. When comparing it to similar products, I believe it is a fair price. I am sure I will get many years of service if I care for the brush.
