Proraso Pre and Post Shaving Cream

Took a flier on Proraso’s pre-shave cream and am very happy with it. I use it both before and after wet shaving and the feeling is very nice and refreshing. Highly recommended.

I never really used a preshave product before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The fresh smell is fantastic and there is a very pleasant cooling sensation on the skin soon after applying. Really great way to prepare your skin before lathering. This product is now an essential part of my shaving kit.

I love this little tub. Cool feeling with after-glow of eucalyptus. I use as a night face cream too, and it puts me to sleep.

Bought this thinking it was a post shave balm. Never thought of using a pre-shave treatment, but this stuff is nice! Helps give a very close smooth shave. Would recommend giving it a try.

Picked this up more for any after shave balm than a preshave. Was a bit sceptical that a pre shave creme would enhance the shave. First of all its probably too thick for a post shave balm. As a pre shave it works brill and has given a better shave because of using it. A little goes a long way as well.

If like me you suffer from sensitive skin this product is for you. Leaves your skin smooth and cool, smells great. Wouldn't be without it.

This product is the most important part of your DE shaving experience. It will cut down on nicks and gives a better slick feeling when shaving. It does feel warm on your face when you apply the cream so best to only use small amounts, but you will have the best shave ever and its down to applying a pre shaving cream.

This is an indispensable product for shaving. It is THE essential product in the Proraso range (and they are all good). I love the Proraso brand livery. The fresh smell of eucalyptus and menthol in this cream is powerful and it's a precursor of the cold sensation of the application of the cream to the face. And yes it is a Pre-Shave AND a Post-Shave cream. You apply it as an undercoat before lathering the face so it prepares the beard for the soap and facilitates a smoother glide of the blade. And then after the shave (and after a rub and rinse of Alum), you apply it sparingly to a still wet face for a really fresh healing sensation for a minute or two before the final rinse and dry. I would not be without this product and I'd trade any other shaving aid (apart from a sharp blade) before I'd surrender this one. Look out for the 300ml jar here on Shaving.ie for even better value!
