Contains everything a beginner needs with high quality equipment. Would definitely recommend for someone who is looking for somewhere to start.

First off it came very quickly, I ordered at 10 on Friday night so I might as well have ordered on Monday morning, it came Tuesday night. The kit itself is great, everything is fantastic. Would recommend.

Returning to non globalized shaving after realizing the globalized razor rip off. Started with this kit which is super value. Will replace some items with more expensive bits as time goes on. But it's a perfect and economical place to start.

I have bought the kit with the EJ-DE89. In this kit, for the price you get excellent products. The only complaint I have is the brush. When I first shook it to drain the water, the knot came out. No biggy, I used epoxy and now it's very sturdy. Also the brush is humongous. Shipping was very fast. I ordered it on Thursday night and it came on Monday morning (Slovenia). I recommend it.

This starter kit was my introduction to DE safety razor shaving, love the kit but would recommend upgrading to a shorter bristle length brush, aside from that I would highly recommend the kit. The razor itself is excellent (perfect size and weight ).The blade assortment pack is good to figure out what suits you best. The Proraso cream makes excellent lather.

Been using this for roughly 2-3 weeks now and I'm falling more and more in love with it. Over the last 10 years, I've been using various Gillette razors with increasing number of blades (and prices) and I've always found shaving an absolute chore. Plus I could never get as close a shave as I wanted. After much research, I decided to try out a DE safety razor and it has been amazing. The first 2-3 shaves were only ok, mostly because of my inexperience and I've had a few nicks. But I'm actually getting a lot better at using the DE razor and shaving has actually been quite a pleasant experience so far. Delivery from shaving.ie was reasonable, quick and the products were of high quality. I fully recommend it!

I tried shaving previously with a plastic DE razor and blades bought from my local chemist. I didn't prepare my skin properly so needless to say it didn't go too well, I had a lot of nicks and razor burn. After visiting this site however, and seeing what I was doing wrong, I decided to get this starter kit. Best purchase I have made all year hands down. I’m a newbie to wet shaving and i purchased this starter kit with the Merkur HD 34c. Such a close shave compared to the mach3 i was using and also it a lot more enjoyable. I've only have 3 shaves with it so far but i actually really enjoy shaving now. I've since went on to buy some different soaps and some pre/post shave lotion. Big difference with the pre/post lotion only nicked myself twice (only used it 3 times) face feels so much smoother with it as well. Already thinking about an open comb razor, maybe in the New Year.
