Forget the gory stories about DE razors - the EJ DE89 will provide the gentlest shave possible. To get a really close shave takes some preparation but if you're not a perfectionist you will immediately get a satisfying result. TheDE89L razor head is designed in a way that it's almost impossible to hurt yourself - you will learn pretty fast which angle gives you the best results.

As i sad on the headline, this is a lovely razor. Not aggressive, and it provides a really close shave without razor burn. I would recommend this razor to beginners too. Also Chris provides the best service to you!

One pass and practically all the stubble gone. Up until now I had been using the Merkur 34HD or a couple of vintage Gillette slim's and fatboys I had collected oh yeah and a weishi. But this razor beat them all. I couldn't recommend it enough and it's one of the cheapest on this site. I think my Merkur has been knocked off the top spot!

The best shaver I used ever. With it I always have a gentle and thorough shave, even with different blades. My number one.
