I was impressed at the speed at which it reached me. Thanks Chris. It has taken me a few weeks to get used to the DE89 as a only been DE shaving since the new year. Only this last week have I finally gotten used to my DE89 I like it very much. Its more aggressive than i initially expected but that may have led me to be over confident.

Having taken up DE shaving about 6 months ago using a weishi I finally decided to trade up, and I am glad I did. The Edwin Jagger DE89 is nicely balanced, with perfect blade angle and the chrome finish looks really good. I highly recommend it. Delivered in 2 days and at a good price, A + Shaving.ie

The EJ DE89 is IMHO a very smart razor - perfect dimensions and blade angle, good on the whole face including the tricky areas under the nostils etc. (tried with Astra SP blades).

After finding this website by accident (And I'm glad I did) just after Christmas. I took the plunge and decided to buy my first DE razor. I chose the Edwin Jagger DE89 razor. And I can honestly say, it's a beautiful looking and beautifully finished chrome DE razor. And after years of using a well known over priced and over rated cartridge system razor, this is a real treat and a luxury to use. It takes a couple a shaves to master it. But with the right shaving soap and the right blade, it just cuts through those whiskers like a hot knife through butter. Be a man and get one...because after you use it...you will feel like a proper man! Can i also say, SHAVING.IE do a great service and my delivery was fast and well packaged :)

By far the best razor I have ever used. After a couple of shaves you can actually see how a great DE razor actually corrects imperfections on the skin with proper preparation.

Forget the gory stories about DE razors - the EJ DE89 will provide the gentlest shave possible. To get a really close shave takes some preparation but if you're not a perfectionist you will immediately get a satisfying result. The DE89L razor head is designed in a way that it's almost impossible to hurt yourself - you will learn pretty fast which angle gives you the best results.

As i sad on the headline, this is a lovely razor. Not aggressive, and it provides a really close shave without razor burn. I would recommend this razor to beginners too. Also Chris provides the best service to you!

One pass and practically all the stubble gone. Up until now I had been using the Merkur 34HD or a couple of vintage Gillette slim's and fatboys I had collected oh yeah and a weishi. But this razor beat them all. I couldn't recommend it enough and it's one of the cheapest on this site. I think my Merkur has been knocked off the top spot!

The best shaver I used ever. With it I always have a gentle and thorough shave, even with different blades. My number one.
