If the top is worn don't buy a new razor. Buy this.
The top of my razor became corroded and would not screw tight. Was about to buy a new razor when I discovered this. Sorted.

Muhle Replacement Top Plate R89
Very beautiful R89 Razor Top. Ok, let the truth come out. The reason I bought this part is because I purchased a cheap razor elsewhere and the blade alignment is terrible. I thought this would be a fine replacement for that razor head. It wasn't. You can't put lipstick on a pig and make it look better. I purchased a Muhle R89 replacement head and it works amazing. I am glad I purchased this top as a replacement top and will someday use it. All Muhle products are excellent products and you can't go wrong buying from www.shaving.ie . :)

A good opportunity to revive the razor
Very cost-effective solution to restore the upper plate with a razor defect after a fall or corrosion of the material. Good price, excellent quality chrome plating.

Saved my Razor!
On first use, my D.R. Harris razor slipped into the sink while being rinsed and the head broke off. As I was able to remove the part of the threading screw that remained in the handle, the availability of this part put my razor back in working order at minimal cost.
