Necessary item
I find this quite essential for shaving. It indicates where I'm doing a really bad job of shaving, therefore giving me the opportunity to review my technique. It helps seal nicks and cuts, also.

Whatever post shave products you prefer, an alum block is essential IMO. Keep it somewhere cold for a really soothing effect!

Great after shave treatment
I wet my face with a cold rinse and give it the once over with this. Takes care of any razor burn and small nicks perfectly. Every serious shaver needs one of these.

Excellent addition to my shaving routine
I have a patch near my adam's apple that always gets red / razorburned after a shave no matter how careful I am when shaving. Since I started using this Alum Block not only has the area healed perfectly but I have noticed a big improvment in my face in general. No more spots! After I shave I rinse off any soap and wet my face. A quick rub of the block is followed by brushing my teeth and flossing. By the time that's finished it is time to rinse off the face and pat dry. I store the block on a glass shelf in my medicine cabinet. Unless I drop it and it shatters it should last several years based on the rate of wear so far. I can't believe I am only discovering this now. All serious wet shavers should use one.

Essential part of shaving routine
I find this product excellent for helping to deal with post shave skin sensitivity. It really helps in identifying where I am over shaving and helps to seal those minor nicks. After applying allow to dry and then rinse face with cold water, pat dry and apply some skin food and face will feel superb.

An all Natural Product
Like the description says simply wet the block under cold running water and rub on the face. Nicks and cuts are healed and cleared up. Makes great anti-perspirant for the underarms as well.

Works very well
It makes your face burn a lot after shaving, but it works, if you get a cut or red mark, this will help you. I bought the other Alum Block of blue box, but I received the Osma Alum Block (the best, I guess). This web store is unbelievable. My package arrived in Brazil in record time, just 12 days.
