Feather Stainless Steel Razor ASD2
Made by the Feather Safety Razor Co in Japan these are the ultimate razor blades for sharpness. Described by some as the "assassins blade" of double edged safety razor blades. This blade is great for more experienced users.
These are the finest, sharpest blades I've ever shaved with. They're also extremely smooth. If you own a good razor holder then these blades will practically eliminate razor burn. Of course I still get the occasional minor cut but never any constant bleeding. I highly recommend these blades. You will notice the difference!
I was looking for a very sharp blade for an aggressive shave with an open comb de razor. This blade is great.
I have experimented with many different blade and razor combinations. Consistently the Feather blades work best. They are the sharpest I think yet they last quite well. I have used them in everything from antique Gillettes to modern Merkur and they are oerfect in all of them
After several tests, my choice fell back on these blades. With the right cream it is a pleasure to cut the beard.
I’ve used nothing but Feathers almost since I took to DE shaving about fifteen years ago — I worked my way through a couple of sample packs but quickly concluded that these were by far the best.
Great blades, closest shave I've had yet!
Great blades, very sharp, cutting hair easily and just a pleasure to use. I recommend these without hesitation. However you might also want to look at POLSILVER Super Iridium, as they feel even sharper and smoother then Feathers. (using Feather WS-D1S Razor)
Very good sharp blades. I used Wilkinson Sword baldes for years, but as I'm turning into Desparate Dan nowadays I thought I needed something sharper. I have cut myself slightly a couple of times, but I use a Fa Tip Grande razor as well so that adds to the fierceness. But otherwise I've been using them for months now with no major problems. They're the only blades that seem able to give me a close shave!
Easily the best blade I've tried and remains sharp after a number of shaves.
