The Legendary Martin de Candre Original Shaving Soap first created in the 1980's became one of the best loved shaving soaps of wet shave enthusiasts. It has a subtle an elegantly fresh scent thanks to the lavender, mint and rosemary essential oils. The lather from this soap will cling to the skin providing the foundation of an irritation free smooth shave.
Martin de Candre shaving soap is made using a hot saponification process utilising 100% vegetable oils (olive, copra) and potash (Alcali). The soap then spends weeks slowly drying which allows the desired scent and performance to remain unaffected.

Expensive but worth it
Had read great things about this soap and decided to try it. My face felt great after it and yes it has a very high price tag but it takes so little to get a good lather that I feel it may work out being more economical than other cheaper soap.
