Merkur Progress

This razor is my daily driver, I just don't like the plastic knob or that it's hard to see the adjustment and cap settings. Other than those minor details I like this razor very much.

This Merkur has become my favorite safety razor as far as my daily shaves are concerned. I can adjust it to my personal needs in terms of aggressiveness and/or sensitivity respectively. Works best with Astra SP blades for me.

This razor is heavy. I am very satisfied, next razor will be Merkur slant.

This is my default. If I'm not into trying out something new I use the Progress. It provides amazing close two pass shaves and the perfect baby face after the third path. And it works perfect with a broad selection of blades.

Purchased the progress yesterday, arrived today. This is my first safety razor, and it must be said; I was absolutely shocked by the ease of use and the exceptional results procured. Despite my lack of experience using the progress was straight-forward and my initial reaction is that I will not be using a fusion or mach3 again. Indeed, the most astounding thing is how we even moved away from DE razors in the first instance.
