A little hard at first but then perfect. Softly scented, creamy lather, lasts more than a year.

I have used two or three pucks of Mitchells Wool Fat over the years. If you want a soap with no perfume that lathers easily then this is the one for you. It smells faintly of lanolin, that is the only odour.

Very good leather,and you can feel benefit from wool fat..very good for skin...only they can made some better/modern scent.. But this is really great product

I had ordered one soap before, and have now ordered two more. It lathers fine with a good boar brush, and I love the moisturizing action.

This is a great soap, particularly in the Winter - leave an almost balm like feeling to the skin.
IMO works best when face lathered with a short dense brush,

Super sensitive skin but MWF solved the problem, even with straight razor am I feeling so smooth. Take the time to work the lather and you'll be rewarded...

A mildly scented soap which has good moisturising properties. I found it very easy to create a lather with and an excellent shaving soap. I'd recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin.

MWF truly is the best tallow based shaving soap today. Lovely scent, great lubrication and cushioning, a must have for the dedicated wet shaver!

Not usually to keen on hard soaps but I have to say this produces a lovely lather. Can be a bit hard to work with sometimes but it gives a nicely scented slick lather. Will last ages also. A must have on your shaving shelf.

Quality shaving soap. I keep coming back to this as it provides a very comfortable, irritation free shave. Love the smell too, so that's a bonus.

Excellent shave soap from Mitchell's. Not much to say apart from it is just pure quality and it would be hard to find any better.
