A very thoughtful product

It is an awesome product not just to protect your blade in the razor while travelling, but also the razor head as it is prone to scratches. Very light and looks classy as well.

good blade guard

I bought it to protect the persons who doesn't take care when they catch it,when it's falling down but it keeps humid the blade so the best way to use it, is to travel.

easy to use

This blade guard is safe and easy to use. I travel a lot with my job and have tried no case, a leather case, and now this. I prefer this cover for protecting my razor and blade.

I travel for work a lot and this is awesome for that. Takes up no space and protects the razor head as well as fingers when fumbling around in my shave bag. I have purchased two and think I will order some more for friends.

a "must have" DE razor accessory
Posted by calabash on 22nd Jul 2014
I don't know why these little jewels don't show up more often on the internet than they do, but they are a must for travel. I have several to protect my razors and so should you, if you own prize razors.

Handy for travel
Posted by Tomás on 29th Mar 2014
This blade guard by Muhle is hard to find, so well done to Shaving.ie for stocking it! Of course it fits the R41 perfectly, but also the Edwin Jagger DE89. It's very handy if you use a leather travel case for your razor, as an unguarded blade can nick the inside of the case, and these cases aren't cheap.

Very Handy
Posted by Phil on 29th Mar 2014
This is a very handy bit of kit. Stops the razor blade nicking the inside of the washbag or one's fingers when poking around in it and it slips on and off easily. Useful for keeping the travel kit as light as possible.

Plastic holder works as it should
Posted by CY Li on 22nd Feb 2014
It is made of light, soft plastic. It fits tightly with my Muhle R41 head as well as my Edwin Jagger R89 head, so it would be difficult to slip it out without a handle.
