Shave Boutique Ivory Manchurian Silvertip Shaving Brush is custom made for us with a 26mm Manchurian silvertip knot. The hair is set as a full bulb, pale at the tips with a dark band running through the middle, and at 26mm it is a step up in size from the norm.
The handle is turned from ivory faux resin with a soft marbled figure and a polished finish. It flares out beneath the knot, draws in through the waist and widens again towards the base, so the brush sits in the hand without needing a tight grip. Resin is unaffected by the water and heat of a shave.

How to Use
Stand the knot in warm water for a minute or two before you shave, then lift it out and shake the excess off so the hair is damp rather than dripping. Load straight from a puck of soap or a tub of cream, then build the lather on the face or in a bowl, adding water in small amounts until it turns glossy. Rinse the brush under warm water afterwards, squeeze the hair gently rather than wringing it, shake it out and leave it to dry knot down or hanging. A badger brush sheds a few hairs over the first several shaves, which settles as the knot beds in.
