Black Soap is part of the Made by Speick range, produced by the German natural cosmetics company Speickwerk to their long standing traditional soap recipe. Palm, coconut and olive oils form the base, all saponified using RSPO certified, sustainably sourced palm oil, with bamboo derived activated charcoal worked through the bar.
The charcoal gives the soap its dark colour and its job: it draws out excess oil, everyday grime and impurities from the pores as you lather, which makes this a good fit for oily or blemish prone skin, though it is gentle enough for daily use on any skin type. The scent comes from rosemary and lavandin essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance, and the formula is certified natural cosmetics under the COSMOS standard, free from synthetic dyes, preservatives and mineral oils.
Supplied as a 100g bar, it works well as a daily face and body cleanser at the sink or in the shower.

How to Use
Work the bar into a lather using cold or lukewarm water and apply to the face or body. Rinse thoroughly. Suitable for daily use.
