Timor Solingen Double Edged Blades

These are very good, smooth, long lasting blades. I find them to be on the mild side. They work very well in my Muhle R41 (a very aggressive razor). Highly recommended.

Very Smooth!
Posted by DPC on 23rd Feb 2015
I tried these blades for change of pace since I usually use the same 5-6 brands in my usual rotation. Boy, were these a pleasant surprise! These are very sharp, yet smooth and comfortable as well. Unlike Feather these do not chew up my face. I also get 5 to 6 3-pass shaves per blade. If there is one drawback it is the cost. These are terrific blades but premium priced. Other than that these are some of the best blades I have ever tried.

Great, Mild Blade

Great, mild blade that is sharper than most of the mild blades out there without sacrificing smoothness.

Not so smooth as Derby or Astra green.

The best I've tried.
Posted by James on 7th Dec 2013
I've tried about a dozen different brands of blades and these are by far the best. I have extremely sensitive skin and, for whatever reason, these blades give me the least amount problems post shave. Thoroughly recommend them to anyone else who is as prone to breakouts & shaving irritation as me!

Timor Razor Blades
Posted by JIM BILLIRIS on 7th Dec 2013
Russian sharpness, Egyptian smoothness and Japanese quality This blade needs a hell of a lot more recognition than it gets. Perfect QC , extremely smooth and just sharp enough to allow you to crank up the adjustable for a super smooth shave. Well worth the experience- you must try it especially if you suffer from post shave irritations from extremely close shaves.

Timor vs Feather
Posted by Ramon Poisson on 7th Dec 2013
I just finished three test shaves with the TIMOR DE blades and three with the FEATHER blades. I was surprised at the results! The feather blades have been my favorite blades for a while now and i saw NO drop off in performance between the Timor and Feather razor blades. I received BBS shaves on all three shaves with both blades. I think I've found a new blade!

Super blades
Posted by Martin on 7th Dec 2013
After trying several blades like Feather, Gillette 7 o Clock, Derby, Personna, Astra etc. the Timors are now the only blade i use. They are perhaps not as sharp as the Feathers but much smoother and longer lasting. I easily get 8 very close and smooth, comfortable shaves from them. Also the packaging is great with it's retro look and the option to store used blades. In my opinion they are definitely worth the price.

Mild yet still sharp
Posted by Dave on 6th Dec 2013
If you like a mild blade but found Merkurs not quite not sharp enough, this is the blade for you.
Still mild but with a little extra edge, I found these to be my favorite blade. When I'm in a rush I use Merkurs but prefer these for when I've a little more time. Simply excellent.
