Product Description

The Merkur Futur is an adjustable safety razor suitable for beginners and experienced shavers. It features a snap on head making it simple and quick to replace blades. The unique modern design of the Futur is finished off in matt chrome. When set at one the Futur provides a very mild shave which is ideal for learning and developing the correct shaving technique. Adjusting to higher numbers makes the shave more aggressive to achieve an even closer shave.

    The Merkur Futur is the ultimate razor. Consistently provides great shaves when paired with Gillette 7 O Clock blades and some Taylors Avocado cream.

    I've been using the Futur for about 3 years - it's an amazing piece of kit. The build quality is pure German. As shown in the picture, the finish is brushed chrome, but what you don't appreciate from a picture is weight of this thing - it's a heavy beast. I've recently started to run it with feather blades, dialled back to 2, and I am getting near barber-shop shaves.
