Product Description

The satin chrome Merkur Futur is an adjustable safety razor. This Merkur safety razor features a snap on head making it simple and quick to replace blades. The unique modern design of the Futur is finished off in matt chrome. When set at one the Futur provides a milder shave which is ideal for learning and initially developing the correct shaving technique. Adjusting to higher numbers makes the shave more aggressive to achieve an even closer shave.

The FUTUR is an amazing piece of shaving-art! It has a nice weight, good looks and fantastic build quality. The Merkur Futur's party-piece is the adjusting feature. With this, you can bring out the best in every blade.

Recently purchased this razor. It is my first Safety Razor and so far the results are the excellent. I'll be throwing the Mach 3 in the bin.

Got this as my first DE razor, with sample blade pack and tub of Taylor's avocado cream, no problems so far, didn't think it would be this easy use at all. Best blades best for me so far with this are Gillete 7 0'clock.
Service was excellent, speedy dispatch.

The Merkur Futur is the ultimate razor. Consistently provides great shaves when paired with Gillette 7 O Clock blades and some Taylors Avocado cream.

I've been using the Futur for about 3 years - it's an amazing piece of kit. The build quality is pure German. As shown in the picture, the finish is brushed chrome, but what you don't appreciate from a picture is weight of this thing - it's a heavy beast. I've recently started to run it with feather blades, dialled back to 2, and I am getting near barber-shop shaves.
