A good upgrade to an Edwin Jager or Muhle closed comb razor
Despite the reputation for aggressiveness of the Muhle 41c open comb razor, I found the shave very smooth. It is very much better than the Fatip Grande for instance. Fit and finish is excellent and fits to the handle of the Edwin Jagger. Being able to buy the head pieces when you already have a beginner's razor is very sensible and saves money. In my case, I bought the Shavecraft stainless steel handle and the balance and weight of the razor is excellent.

Typical Muhle quality
I have a course beard with sensitive skin. I don't find the R41 head irritating or aggressive as some people have reviewed it to be. Provides a good shave.
