Start with one of these packs
The blades all have a different character, and this a fast way to try a bunch without spending a lot of money. Start out with some of the "duller" ones and work your way up to the Feathers.. they are in a class of their own.

Great intro
Decided to give DE shaving ago after many years wearing a beard. Online research suggested the type of blade you use does make a difference so this is a great way to try a good few to decide what you like best. I haven't tried all of them yet but so far the Derby extra is my fave. Stumbled across shaving.ie online through a search and their pricing, and service has been excellent.
